No matter what happens after Hurricane Sandy, the Lord is the same every day. The prophet Malachi records, "I the Lord do not change." Malachi 3:6
And God's mercies are new every morning. For it is recorded in Lamentations , "
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness."
Lamentations 3:22-23
Have you talked to Jesus this morning ? Have you asked for the forgiveness of your sins ? God is faithful. He can also keep you from temptation. Sometimes we don't understand why things like Hurricane Sandy happen, but the Lord has a purpose behind it.
For it is recorded in Romans 8:28 "28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose."
